Silver Colour French Wire - Medium  

41 cm / 16 inch packet of fine French Wire (also called Bullion), suitable for griffin silk bead cord numbers 3 & 4.

French wire is fine gauge coiled wire that acts as a safeguard to prevent clasps from "wearing on" or "cutting through" silk and other bead cords. 

Instructions for using French Wire:

Depending on the size of jump ring or clasp, use approx 3mm - 9mm (this 1 meter packet goes a long way!) on knotted or unknotted strands, adjusting length longer or shorter to suit your design.

Cut two equal lengths of French Wire so both ends match.

The proper size French Wire should slide easily, but not loosely, on the stringing material.
