Breast Cancer Awareness Angel
This is a little project that we've designed for you to make and sell in order that you can raise money for breast cancer awareness.
They cost about £2.66 in beads and findings to make and we'd recommend that you sell them for around £5 donating the profit to Breast Cancer Care.
We've added our angel to a mobile phone strap, but they work well as earrings, pendants, bag charms or key rings....
Ingredients
1 x 5mm Closed Jump Ring
1 x 2 inch headpin (sterling silver or silver plated)
1 x 6mm Crystal Rondelle in Crystal AB
1 x 6mm Round Swarosvki Bead in Rose
1 x Rose Swarovski Crystal Pineapple bead
Tools required: Round Nose Pliers, Side Cutters, Chain Nose Pliers
Method
1. Thread the beads onto the headpin in the pattern shown.
2. Using your round nose pliers make a loop on the headpin just after the last bead, slip the closed jump ring onto the loop and wrap to close the loop up. For a video showing how to make a wire wrapped loop click here.
3. Finish by slipping the angel onto your chosen finding (mobile phone strap, handbag charm, chain etc)
