16 x Bali Dot Rondelle Beads
4 x 3mm Sterling Silver Round Beads
2 x 2mm Sterling Silver Crimps
10g Miyuki Delica Mix - Lilacs
1 x 11mm Sterling Silver Lobster Clasp
1 x 5mm Sterling Silver Jump Rings
Beadalon 49 Strand beading wire
Additional Tools Required: Crimp Forming Pliers, Chain/Snipe Nose Pliers, Side Cutters
Note: We have used Beadalon 49 Strand for this necklace as we wanted to make it extra soft and flexible, however Beadalon 19 Strand will also work with this design
Method
1. Using your chain/snipe nose pliers open the 10mm jump ring and thread on the tagua nut pendant and the heart charm, close the jump ring using your chain/snipe nose pliers.
2. Take two 50cm lengths of beadalon and crimp them both to the lobster clasp using one 2x2mm sterling silver crimp bead and your crimp forming pliers. Snip off any excess wire using your side cutters.
3. On one strand of the wire thread on 20 delica beads, then thread on a bali dot rondelle bead, then another 40 delica beads, another bali dot rondelle etc (continue this pattern until you have threaded on 8 bali dot rondelles, ensuring that you finish with 40 delica beads).
4. One the other strand of wire thread on 40 delica beads, then thread on a bali dot rondelle bead, then another 40 delica beads, another bali dot rondelle etc (continue this pattern until you have threaded on 8 bali dot rondelles, ensuring that you finish with 20 delica beads).
5. Thread the jump ring with the tagua nut pendant and charm onto both strands of delica beads.
6. Attach the remaining two ends of beadalon to the 5mm closed jump ring using one 2x2mm sterling silver crimp bead. Snip off any excess wire using your side cutters.
