Twist Again Necklace

We've made this pretty necklace in plain silver crystals and in a lovely green mix to show you how fab it looks when you add colour.

Ingredients

48 x Sterling Silver Twisted Tube Beads

1 x Sterling Silver Triple Strand Tube Clasp

6 x Sterling Silver 2x2mm Crimp Beads

45 x 6mm Chinese Crystal Beads - for the Silver necklace we've used Crystal Silver 638 and for the green necklace we've used Light Green 616, Lime Green 619 and Teal 641

96 x 2mm Sterling Silver Round Beads

Beadalon 19 Strand Wire - Bright (cut three 24 inch lengths)

Tools Required: Crimping Pliers, Side Cutters

Method

1. Begin by crimping all three lengths of Beadaon onto one side of the clasp and trim any excess wire using your side cutters.

2. Next thread the beads onto the wire one strand at a time starting with a 2mm Sterling Silver round bead and following the pattern shown in the picture and finishing on a twisted tube bead.

3. Once you have threaded up all the strands you need to loosely plait them - if you plait them too tightly then the necklace will become too short so keep your plait nice and loose.

4. Finally add a 2mm Sterling Silver round bead and a 2x2mm Sterling Silver crimp bead onto each strand and crimp the strands onto the other side of the clasp and trim any excess wire.

Tip: To keep costs down you may like to make this necklace in silver plate - to do this try using the Silver Plated Triple Strand Tube Clasp and the Silver Plated S Tubes and the 3mm Silver Plated Round Beads
