Button Charm Bracelet

Ingredients

1 x Silver Plated Charm Bracelet

Selection of Buttons - Our themed 50g button bags are perfect, for a "vintage" look add in some buttons from your local charity shop

Silver Plated Headpins

1mm Silver Plated Wire

Optional - Czech beads and Swarovski crystals and headpins to fill in any gaps between the buttons

Tools required: Cutters, round nose pliers and chain nose pliers

Method

1. Calculate the number of links you have on the bracelet and the number of buttons you wish to use - plan how you are going to space the buttons along the length of the bracelet

2. Use the round nose pliers and the 1mm Silver Plated wire to make your own S shaped links to attach the buttons to the charm bracelet, see below:

Step 5

Step 6 - Snip off any excess wire and neaten

3. Some buttons may have holes that the S Links don't fit through, in this case take a silver plated headpin and thread it through the button hole, create a loop at the back using your round nose pliers and attach this to the bracelet, finish by wrapping the excess wire around the base of the loop and trimming.

4. Optional - Fill in the gaps between the buttons with Czech beads and Swarovski crystals attached with headpins & wire wrapped loops.
