PAYMENT

PRICING
Spoilt Rotten Beads reserves the right to change, without notice, any pricing in the case of error or in the case of manufacturers increasing cost of materials.

QUALITY
As semi-precious stones, freshwater pearls and tagua nuts are natural products, colours, shapes and sizes may vary slightly.

DELIVERY
Orders are usually dispatched within 48 hours of receiving payment, subject to availability. If your order is urgent, just let us know by calling us on   01353 749853   or E-mail customerservice@spoiltrottenbeads.co.uk we'll do our best to meet your needs.

Most items are sent by Royal Mail 1st Class Packetpost (Royal Mail Packetpost is targeted on a 2-3 working day delivery schedule - this is not a guaranteed service), however if your order value is greater than £100 it will be sent by Royal Mail Special Delivery which is fully trackable and requires a signature on delivery.

Orders weighing 2kg or more will be sent by Parcel Force 48 which will ensure that your order is received within 48 hours of posting regardless of postal strikes.

We do not take responsibility for late or non delivery due to factors outside our control.

Please note that our cut off for same day despatch for Special Delivery is 9am.

For mainland Great Britain - England, Scotland and Wales £2.95
For all other International & EU destinations £8.50.
Postage and packing is FREE for all UK orders over £40.00.
For international orders please e-mail Spoilt Rotten Beads for a quote before placing the order.

NEXT DAY DELIVERY
Our cut off time for next day delivery is 9am Monday to Friday. If you order before 9am and opt for Royal Mail Special Delivery then your order will be sent by Royal Mail's Special Delivery Service which is a guarranteed next day service and is trackable. Please note that Royal Mail do not operate on Sundays or Bank Holidays, so if you place an order over a weekend or after 9am on a Friday then your order will be sent out on the next working day i.e. Monday-Friday and will arrive with you on the following working day.

EXCHANGE POLICY

We are happy to exchange unwanted items, simply follow the proceedure below for returns and remember to include a list of what you'd like instead of the items that you're returning. Please remember to include a day time contact number as we may need to contact you to take payment for P&P. We charge a minimum of £1.50 for P&P for resending out exchanges, please note that P&P may be more for large or heavy items.

RETURNS POLICY
We hope you will be delighted with your purchase from Spoilt Rotten Beads. However, if for any reason you are not completely satisfied you may return the goods within 7 days of purchase and we will be happy to offer a refund. 

Under the Distance Selling Regulations, if you are contracting with us as a consumer online or by phone, you have the right to cancel your contract at any time up to 7 working days after the day on which you receive your goods. If you have paid a delivery charge this will also be refunded, but if you are only returning part of the order, then we are not obliged to repay any of the delivery charge. All goods must be returned to us promptly in a re-salable condition, if you need us to collect an item from you, we will charge you the cost of collection (up to £100). You will be notified of the fee at the time of cancellation. This is not intended to be a full statement of your rights under the Distance Selling Regulations. Full details of your rights under the Distance Selling Regulations are available from your local Citizen's Advice Bureau or your Local Authorities Trading Standards Office.

We do not accept returns of beads which have been taken off their temporary string, or cut stringing supplies & chain. Goods must be returned in their original packaging and in a saleable condition. Damaged, broken or incomplete orders must be made verbally within three days; no responsibility can be accepted after this period. This does not affect your statutory rights. The goods must be returned in the original condition, with proof of purchase.

When returning items you MUST contact us first - either call us on   01353 749853   or email customerservice@spoiltrottenbeads.co.uk.

When returning items you are strongly recommended to obtain proof of posting as we cannot accept responsibility for parcels lost in transit. Please note that you are responsibility for the postage costs involved in returning all unwanted or unsuitable items.

Current EU Hygiene regulations mean that we are unable to exchange or refund earring findings.

The Food Imitations (Safety) Regulations 1989
Made 27th July 1989
Laid before Parliament 28th July 1989
Coming into force 1st January 1990

 

    Whereas the Secretary of State has, in accordance with section 11(5) of the Consumer Protection Act 1987, consulted such organisations as appear to him to be representative of interests substantially affected by these Regulations and such other persons as he considers appropriate:
    Now, therefore, the Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred upon him by section 11 of the said Act, hereby makes the following Regulations:-
        1.    These Regulations may be cited as the Food Imitations (Safety) Regulations 1989 and shall come into force on 1st January 1990.
        2.    The Food Imitations (Safety) Regulations 1985 and the Food Imitations (Safety) (Amendment) Regulations 1985 are hereby revoked.
        3.    In these Regulations-
    • "food" means food for human consumption and includes drink, chewing gum and other products of a like nature and use and articles and substances used as ingredients in the preparation of food or drink or of such products;
      "goods" do not include those mentioned in section 11(7)(a) to (d) of the Consumer Protection Act 1987 or-
      •  (a) marbles;
         (b) products bona fide intended for use to represent food in a dolls' house or other model scene or setting; or
         (c) anything consisting entirely of articles or substances used as ingredients in the preparation of food.

        4.    No person shall supply, offer to supply, agree to supply, expose for supply or possess for supply any manufactured goods which are ordinarily intended for private use and are not food but which-
    •  (a) have a form, odour, colour, appearance, packaging, labelling, volume or size which is likely to cause persons, in particular, children to confuse them with food and in consequence to place them in their mouths or suck them or swallow them; and
     (b) where such action as is mentioned in (a) above is taken in relation to them, may cause death or personal injury.
