Brazilian Linhasita Waxed Cord

Not only is this 2-ply polyester cord very strong and durable, it’s also washable, colorfast and will not fray. Made by Linhasita in Brazil this cord is approx 1mm thick (Linhasita PE-4).

Another feature is the ability to burn the ends with a flame (such as torch or lighter) for a nice seamless finish.
You can even incorporate extras pieces if and when needed and it will bond well and remain strong.

Brazilian Waxed Cord is heavily waxed with a vegan friendly mineral wax and feels sticky when you first start using it – however the sticky feeling very quickly disappears and leaves a lovely silky cord which thanks to the waxing holds its knots very well and makes it perfectly suited for macrame work.
