Some Preciosa crystal beads have an AB coating or an AB2X coating. AB stands for Aurora Borealis like the Northern Lights. The AB coating on a bead gives it an extra sparkle and rainbow shimmer. AB2X coating is even more sparkly with the AB coating applied all over the bead rather than just on half of the facets.
