Tools Required: Chain Nose Pliers and/or Flat Nose Pliers to squash the ribbon clamp with

Method

1.Cut the waxed cotton cord into 20cm lengths and cut the leather cords in half.

2. Now take a piece of red and a piece of pink waxed cotton and loop it onto one of the infinity connectors, repeat with two more pieces of waxed cotton cord for the other side of the connector. Do this for the remaining infinity connector.

3. Next take two more pieces of waxed cotton cord and knot them either side of the “believe” connector.

4. Now make two plaits out of the leather cords

5. Lay all the strands of cord out together and line up the ends, check the length of the bracelet and trim the cords if necessary (don’t forget to allow approx 3cm for the length of the clasp).

6. Now apply a small amount of GS Hypo Cement glue to the inside of a ribbon clamp and insert all the ends of the cords. Use your chain nose pliers to squash the ribbon clamp securely onto the cords – make sure that all the cords are trapped (you might need three pairs of hands to do this so ask a friend for some help!). Repeat for the other side of the bracelet.

7. Finally attach a jump ring to either side of the ribbon clamp and add a lobster clasp to one of the jump rings.
