Champagne & Chocolates Cuff - Spoilt Rotten Beads

Champagne & Chocolates Cuff

Champagne & Chocolates Cuff

Ingredients

1 x Silver Plated Bangle Frame

6mm Glass Pearls in Whisper & Mink

6mm Silver Plated Stardust Beads

6x8mm Crystal Rondelles in Golden Shadow

0.8mm Silver Plated Non Tarnish Wire

Tools Required: Round Nose Pliers, Side Cutters, Nylon Jaw Pliers, Chain Nose Pliers

Method

1. Take the bangle & your round nose pliers and use the pliers to add bends & kinks to each section of the bangle, be careful not to put too much stress on the joints of the bangle base:

2. Now cut a 1 meter long length of 0.8mm silver plated wire and use your Nylon Jaw pliers to smooth out any kinks in the wire – Nylon Jaw Pliers are perfect for this job since they won’t mark or damage your wire.

3. Once you have done this attach a 1 meter length of wire to the edge of the cuff by wrapping the wire tightly onto the cuff, trim and push down any sharp edges using your chain nose pliers – see close up below:

4. Now start adding bead to the wire one at a time – thread on a bead, position the bead where you’d like it to sit on the cuff and wrap the wire back around the bead to create a little spiral infront of the bead, anchor the bead in place by wrapping the wire back onot the bangle base. This may take a little bit of practice to achieve – the wire is strong so don’t be afraid to man handle it a bit – you’ll need to be quite strong with it!

5. Continue around the bangle filling in all of the gaps and attaching more wire if necessary. Finish by wrapping the remaining wire around the bangle base, trim and flatten any sharp edges using  your chain nose pliers.
