Memory Wire Stack - Spoilt Rotten Beads

Memory Wire Stack

This memory wire bracelet gives the illusion of a stack of little bangles, it’s very easy to make and is a perfect project if you’re a beginner to making jewellery.

Supplies:

Bracelet Memory Wire

Selection of beads including 4mm pearls, 6mm firepolish, bugle beads, 8/0 seed beads, 11/0 seed beads, spacer beads and bead caps

Tools: Round Nose Pliers, Memory Wire Cutters

Method:

  1. Begin by cutting a length of memory wire that is approx 1/2 a turn longer than you want your finished bracelet to be. Our bracelet is 6 turns long.
  2. Using your Round Nose Pliers make a loop on one end of your memory wires and snip off any excess wire from the loop using your memory wire cutters.
  3. Thread on the beads in any pattern you choose, to get the stacking effect you’ll need to thread on the same kind of bead for one complete turn of memory wire before you move on to the next style or pattern of beads.
  4. Finish your bracelet with another loop and once again use your memory wire cutters to snip off the excess wire.
