Swarovski Crystal Angels - Spoilt Rotten Beads

Swarovski Crystal Angels

Swarovski Crystal Angels

These angels make pretty pendants but if you make two you can also use them as earrings.

We’ve also been adding them to the end of our silver plated bookmarks – they make lovely end of term Christmas presents for teachers!

Ingredients

1 x Swarovski Crystal AB Pinepple bead 12×8 (you’ll find them here)

1 x Pewter Angel Wings Charm (you’ll find it here)

1 x 8mm Swarovski round bead in Crystal AB

1 x 8mm Crystal Rondelle (you’ll find it here)

1 x 3 inch Sterling Silver Headpin

1 x 5mm Sterling Silver closed jump ring (you do not need this for earrings)

Sterling silver chain, silver plated bookmark or sterling silver earwires depending on what you’re going to use your angel for.

Tools required: Round Nose Pliers, Chain Nose Pliers, Side Cutters

Method

1. Thread the beads onto the headpin in the pattern shown

2. Use your round nose pliers to create a wire wrapped loop at the top of the headpin, before you close the loop thread your jump ring on, then wrap the excess wire around the base of the loop to close it off. If you’re not sure how to make a wire wrapped loop click here for our free video demonstration).

3. Snip off any excess wire with your side cutters

4. Pop your angel onto your earwires, chain or book mark
