How to Attach a Clasp to Leather or Suede

How do I attach a clasp to leather or suede cord?

Cord ends are used on leather, suede, silk, ribbons or cording – once attached to your cord they’re nice and easy to add any kind of clasp to.

1. Grasp end cap with round nose pliers and slip leather or cording into the finding.

2. Using the Round Nose Pliers gently squash the middle section of the finding

3. Attach another cord end to the other end and you’re done!

Tip: You might want to add a couple of jump rings to the Cord Ends to make it easier to attach a clasp – alternatively just add an S Clasp to the rings on the Cord Ends
