Meet your mentors
Miriam Shimon
Miriam is lives in Israel and was born in Denmark. Miriam is an amazing bead artist whose creative life spans glass beads, soutache, crystals, silver and gold. After years living in Israel, beadwork became her full-time passion—teaching colourful techniques and inspiring students around the world.
Her award-winning work has featured in international magazines, but her heart belongs to crafting one-of-a-kind pieces with soul.
Heather Kingsley-Heath
English beadwork artist Heather creates delicate, richly detailed and wearable designs, often inspired by history and vintage treasures. A kind, patient and lively tutor, she’s generous with process and technique, teaching in the UK and overseas.
Heather originated Albion stitch and has published two books on it, as well as co-authoring Tudor Inspirations. Her work features widely in magazines. heatherworks.co.uk
Vicky Roberts
Vicky loves all things sparkly, building intricate, multi-layered designs with inventive constructions and a palette of crystal shapes and sizes. She has taught numerous classes, edited Bead & Jewellery magazine, and competed nationally and internationally.
Recently she launched a YouTube channel with projects for all levels—encouraging everyone to pick up a needle and conquer the world one bead at a time.

Bring supplies for your classes: bead mat, thread, beading needles, glasses/magnifier, and the items on your materials list.

Free tea/coffee and soft drinks all weekend. We’ll provide soup & rolls; packed lunches welcome.
📍 Venue & accessibility
Masterclasses: Haddenham Baptist Church (opposite Spoilt Rotten Beads warehouse), The Green, Haddenham, Ely, CB6 3TA.
Accessibility: Wheelchair accessible; free on-street parking outside.
Times: Classes run 10:00–16:00. Doors open 09:45 for setup and a comfy start.
After booking: We’ll email your materials list for your chosen project(s).
