Lon D grade is the perfect choice for most fine beadwork.

Lon AA grade is finer and suitable for working with smaller beads or when you will need to make multiple passes of smaller beads.

Lon is lightly waxed, however many beaders choose to condition their nylon beading thread using Thread Heaven or Beeswax thread conditioner.
