Delicate crystal-studded pods dance below a sparkling, flexible herringbone necklace in Running River, Fran Griffith’s elegant new design. More pods embellish the decorative clasp, and the versatile pod components can also be used to create matching earrings. Refined and fluid, this project is perfect for adding a touch of sparkle to your beading repertoire.

Rock Baroque

Yes, the colors are bold and unapologetically wild—and I know lemon yellow might not be everyone’s cup of tea—but I was swept up in a color frenzy for this first version and couldn’t resist! I’ve been in an ‘ornate’ phase lately and even toyed with the idea of simplifying the necklace chain, but let’s be honest—I just couldn’t hold back.

As always, there will be plenty of delicious kit color options—including some softer, quieter tones for those who prefer a subtler palette. Most kits feature Swarovski crystals, though I had to substitute in a few cases where the colors weren’t available.
