Elastic Bead Cord

Making a Simple Stretchy Bracelet

The simplest way to make a stretchy bracelet is to do a single strand of beads. Cut your cord about 9-10″. You will want it to be a little longer then the finished piece so that it is easy to work with. Then add your beads one at a time.

Next you will want to make a reef knot to tie the piece off – see below:

A square knot model.

Finally add a drop of glue (see here for our Hypo Cement Glue) to the knot for a little added strength. Allow the glue to dry and cut the ends close to the knot and if possible slide a bead over the knot.
