Laura’s native language is Italian and that is what she speaks in class.  She teaches with her interpreter Luisa who is very knowledgeable about both beading in general and Laura’s designs.  In all of our conversations over Zoom I have found it very easy to communicate with them.

Artemis Necklace – New Project for 2024!

This will be a the very first time Laura has taught this brand new project!

Featuring delica beads (peyote stitch) combined with wave beads, paisleyduo beads, ginko beads, crystals and chatons. You will learn to create the individual components which can then be joined together to create a statement necklace or used on their own in earrings and pendants.

Mini Tropicana Necklace

A variation of Laura’s Tropicana piece that was a finalist in the Battle of The Beadsmith 2022. The project is worked mostly in 11/0 Delica beads and peyote stitch to create the various elements which can be joined together to make the components – it’s very easy to use teh techinques and patterns used in this design to make smaller earrings and pendants…

Laura Giusti – My Tropicana necklace takes inspiration from tropical flowers, in particular from Strelizia Regina. This unique flower reminds me, due to it’s beauty, of a brightly coloured bird; in fact, it is also called The Bird of Paradise.
