Ingredients
30 x 6mm Swarovski Crystal Pearls
16x 8mm Swarovski Crystal Pearls
Fireline or Superlon Beading Thread
2 Size 10 Beading Needles
Silver Plated Toggle Clasp
Method
1. Thread a needle onto each end of a 150cm length of thread. Thread on the ring from the toggle clasp and let it fall into the centre of the thread. Take both needles and pass them through one 8/0:
2. Onto each length of thread add 2 11/0, 1 8/0 and 2 11/0
3. Take an 8mm pearl and thread both needles through it from opposite directions:
4. Now add a 6mm pearl onto each thread and once again pick up an 8mm pearl and thread both needles through it from opposite directions:
5. Pull the beads up tight to one another and onto each needle thread 2 11/0, 1 8/0 and 1 11/0:
6. Take both needles and thread them both through one 4mm fire polish bead, then separate the threads and onto each thread add 1 11/0, 1 8/0 and 2 11/0:
7. Take that you have just added and bring them up over the top of the pearls so that the 4mm fire polish bead sits in the centre as below:
8.Now pass both needles through the first 8mm pearl that you added:
9.Now take your needles back through the 6mm pearls and back through the last 8mm pearl added as shown in the photographs below:
10. Now repeat steps 4-9 until you have used all 15 fire polish beads (this makes a standard 7.5 inch long bracelet).
11. Finish your bracelet by exiting through the last 8mm pearl added. Onto the Left needle thread on 2 11/0, 1 8/0, 2 11/0 and 1 8/0. Onto the Right needle thread 2 11/0, 1 8/0 and 2 11/0:
12. Now take the Right needle and thread it through the last 8/0 added to the Left needle:
13. Finally thread the bar from the toggle clasp onto both of the threads and take the threads back down through the last 8/0 added. Work your threads back through the beadwork and finish by knotting them around the working thread inbetween two 11/0 beads – pull the knots into an 11/0 bead and trim.
