Tess Necklace Pattern

This elegant necklace was designed by the french designer Puca.

You’ll need to gather the following supplies:

26 Tinos par Puca,

13 Petal Beads 18x12x3 (PET),

13 x 3mm Mini Rondeels (MR),

Seed Beads in 11/0, 15/0 and 8/0 (R),

Chain, Clasps and Connectors of your choice,

Fireline and size 10 Beading Needle

 

Method

1 Pick up 1 Tinos, 1R15, 1R8, 1R15 sew back through the Tino bead as shown

2 Pickup 1 PET and 1 Tinos

3 Thread 2 R15 and sew through the empty hole in the Tinos bead

4 Pick up 1 MR and sew through the first Tino bead you added as shown – exit from the Tino bead

5 Sew back through the beads so that you are exiting the second Tino bead you added:

6 Pick up 1 R15 and 1 Tino

7 Pick up 1 PET, 1 Tino, 2 R15 and sew through the empty hole in the Tino bead

8 Pick up 1 MR and sew through the Tino bead you added in step 6. Pick up 1 R15 and trhead through the central R15 you added on the prevous set. It’s important that you sew through this bead in the correct direction – see photo

9 Now sew through the beads as shown

10 Keep beading sets as in steps 6-9 until you have used 13 PET beads, with the final set pick up 1 R15, 1R8, 1R15 and finish be exiting through the top 15/0 as shown.

11 Pick up 5 R15 and 4 R11. Sew back through the 1st R11 added:

12 Pick up 5 R15 and sew through the next 15/0 in the pattern

13 Sew through the next 15/0 and repeat steps 11-12 for all of the petal beads:

14 Attach a connector or chain to your end 8/0 beads with a jump ring
